Through a partnership with the American Warrior Initiative (AWI), Fairway is able to give back by supporting those who have served our country.

The American Warrior Initiative was founded in 2012 by retired Army veteran Sean Parnell and Fairway branch manager Louise Thaxton. Sean and Louise created AWI with a mission to encourage, educate and inspire people to support both active duty military members and veterans. From the beginning, Sean and Louise have traveled the country and presented this message to over 20,000 real estate agents and business professionals at certified military residential and American Warrior real estate professional boot camps. Through these trainings, mortgage professionals and real estate agents are thoroughly prepared and equipped to handle the mortgage-loan needs of active and former military clients.

United States active military personnel and veterans have fought and given so much to protect the American dream, but, unfortunately, they are not always treated with the respect and care they deserve. By learning how to be the best partner possible to them during the homebuying process, we can become a watchdog and ally for active military members and veterans by handling their home-purchase needs with excellence.
